Co-owner, Broker, REALTOR®
Tom has been practicing real estate in the Triangle for over 10 years. He is one of Terra Nova’s top producers. Tom works with both sellers and buyers, with practice areas in residential resale, new construction, commercial, and investment properties. His consultative approach and extensive negotiating experience make him well-suited to guide clients through their real estate challenges, whether it is a first-time purchase or a complex commercial transaction. He prides himself on providing exceptional client service, and works primarily by referral. He also offers a vintage home marketing program specifically for selling older homes, which Tom developed out of his passion for historic homes and his experience founding the Historic Carrboro Plaque Program.
In the Community
Tom participates as a member of the Orange Chatham Association of Realtors, Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, Town of Carrboro Appearance and Historic Preservation Commission, Historic Carrboro Plaque Program Committee, and as a Youth Soccer Coach and Fix-a-Home Volunteer.
Tom joined Terra Nova in 2002 after a successful 11-year career in the corporate sales and marketing world, selling technology and consulting solutions to some of the country’s largest companies. He brings that professional background of strong negotiating skills, marketing experience, sales training, and interpersonal capabilities to serve his clients in real estate.
Outside the Office
When he’s not helping clients with their real estate issues, Tom can be found spending time with his 2 children and wife around downtown Carrboro. He is an avid runner, and you may catch him competing in any number of area running races throughout the year. He also enjoys mountain biking, Notre Dame football, and sailing.
