Tom Wiltberger joined Terra Nova after a successful 11-year career in the corporate sales and marketing world. He brings a great deal of professional experience to his practice, leveraging the relationship management skills he has honed selling technology and consulting solutions to some of the country's largest companies.

Tom believes that buying or selling a home is an extremely important event in his clients' lives, and it is also a serious business transaction. And the process should be handled as such - with careful attention to detail and strong communication. He strives to exceed the expectations of each and every client.

Tom handles all aspects of residential real estate for his clients. His focus areas include resale and new construction sales, buyer's agency, and relocation. If you are looking for land, as an investment or to build your dream home, Tom can also help you. He is a UNC specialist too, with thorough knowledge of the Chapel Hill area for those coming to work at the University or the Hospital. While focusing on Orange, Durham, and Chatham Counties, Tom has sold homes in Cary and even as far away as Kerr Lake! Tom can help with all aspects of the home search process from neighborhood tours, to obtaining financing, to managing the complex details of inspections and closings. Involved and In-Touch

Tom is a member of the Chapel Hill Board of REALTORS^®, North Carolina Association of REALTORS^®, and the National Association of REALTORS^®. He is an active citizen of Carrboro, as a member of the Appearance and Neighborhood Preservation Commission. Serving the community, he is a fundraising volunteer with UNC Hospital and BeActive North Carolina. Tom also participates in The University of Notre Dame Alumni Club.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Tom falls into that category of "Northern Transplant" that is so common in the Triangle area. He moved to Chapel Hill with his wife, who is a Psychology PhD with the abdominal transplant team at UNC Hospital. They are outdoor enthusiasts who love to run, hike, camp, and travel. In addition, Tom enjoys soccer, skiing, sailing, and mountain biking.
